Fall
The colors begin to appear in Southern Vermont as early as August each year. Small touches of reds and golds were peeking out of the lush greens on the mountains and country roads.
Per the local pundits, we can anticipate
"a spectacular fall foliage season across the Northeast" with
"An explosion of red, gold, purple and bronze"
